About Ephyra

Ephyra are an innovative young ensemble whose performances encompass a wide range of musical styles from classical to contemporary, jazz and original works.

Ephyra are dedicated to developing and promoting both the saxophone and piano duo and the saxophone, cello and piano trio through recitals, educational projects and multimedia collaborations with other art forms such as film, theatre, visual art and dance.

Ephyra are especially committed to expanding the repertoire written for their ensembles through the composing and commissioning of new and original works particularly by up-and-coming young composers.
